Sunday, May 25, as part of Piano City Milano, you’re invited to a day of intense and visionary music, weaving through symbolic locations in the city and pianos that speak different musical languages.
The day begins at 11:00 AM at the Museum of Design with Carlo Boccadoro, in a concert that transforms sound into space and breath. At the heart of the program is Underwater by Ludovico Einaudi, a score of rare transparency—immersive and hypnotic.
In the afternoon, at 4:30 PM at Corte dei Miracoli, the seventh event in the series dedicated to Luciano Berio features Sequenza IV, performed by pianist Diego Petrella.
This performance becomes a starting point for a multi-voiced dialogue with Candida Felici and Marco Benetti, blending words and listening, thought and musical gesture.
To close the day, at 7:30 PM on the GAM Main Stage, Davide Cabassi presents a program of powerful evocativeness: Beethoven’s Sonata Op. 110 and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition — two musical journeys through memory, vision, and sonic matter.
Three concerts, three distinct experiences, one instrument at the center.
An invitation to explore Milan guided by the voice of the piano.
