at the Marenzio Conservatory in Brescia, Romina Tomasoni received her degree of Opera Singer, graduating Magna cum Laude from the same institute under the guidance of mezzo-soprano Ida Bormida.<\/p>\n<p>In 2005, Romina received an honorary diploma from the\u00a0<em>\u2018High Perfection Artistic Course for\u00a0Chorus Artists\u2019<\/em>\u00a0from the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and in\u00a02006, she participated in the\u00a0<em>\u2018Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Vocal Arts Academy\u2019<\/em>.\u00a0For the Academy of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino she also participated in several international festivals including Palazzi dello Zar Festival and the opening of the exhibition dedicated to Michelangelo at the Teatro Quarenghi inside the Hermitage Museum of St. Petersburg, gaining great support from the public and the critics.<\/p>\n<p>From 2008 she began a brilliant career that led her to collaborate with some of the most important conductors and directors of the music scene including: Robert Carsen, Ottavio Dantone, Daniele Gatti, Gustav Kuhn, Zubin Metha, Riccardo Muti, and Peter Stein and Marco Tutino.<\/p>\n<p>The roles interpreted include: Servilia in\u00a0<strong>Tito Manlio<\/strong>\u00a0in Ravenna with the Accademia Bizantina, Mutter in\u00a0<strong>Lulu<\/strong>\u00a0at the Teatro alla Scala and at the Theater an der Wien, Giuditta in\u00a0<strong>La Betulia Liberata<\/strong>\u00a0at the Salzburg Festival, La Baronessa di Champigny in\u00a0<strong>Il cappello di paglia di Firenze<\/strong>\u00a0and Quickly in\u00a0<strong>Falstaff\u00a0<\/strong>in Parma, Fenena in\u00a0<strong>Nabucco<\/strong>\u00a0in Rovigo, Padua and Bassano del Grappa, third dame in\u00a0<strong>Il flauto magico<\/strong>\u00a0in Valencia, Nini in\u00a0<strong>Le Braci<\/strong>\u00a0by Marco Tutino at the Festival of the Valle dell\u2019Itria and Teatro Comunale in Firenze, Flora in\u00a0<strong>L\u2019incoronazione di Dario<\/strong>\u00a0in Turin, Zita in\u00a0<strong>Gianni Schicchi<\/strong>\u00a0in Montpellier, Governane\/Anna in\u00a0<strong>Resurrezione\u00a0<\/strong>at the Wexford Festival and <strong>\u00a0<\/strong>at Maggio Musicale in Florence.<\/p>\n<p>Romina Tomasoni won different competitions including:\u00a0<em>\u2018II Concorso Rami\u00a0Musicali\u2019<\/em>\u00a0in Fucecchio Florence; the\u00a0<em>\u201859<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Concorso per Giovani Cantanti Lirici As. Li.
