Starting Oct. 20, DAVIDE CABASSI returns to the stage of the Bremerhaven Stadttheater for three concerts with the Philharmonisches Orchester Bremerhaven conducted by MARC NIEMANN, rediscovering a musical understanding built over time.

The centerpiece of the evening is Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major, a subtle balance between lightness, irony and more intimate moments that surface without ostentation in a natural dialogue between piano and orchestra.

Completing the program are the melancholy of Lili Boulanger’s D’un soir triste, the narrative force of the Suite from Bizet’s L’Arlésienne, and the relentless crescendo of Ravel’s Boléro.
