On Friday 28 and Sunday 30 November, CARLO BOCCADORO takes the podium of Teatro Verdi in Pisa for a diptych that brings together two very different — and unexpectedly complementary — worlds: the world premiere of La Torre (story by Marco Malvaldi, libretto by Vincenzo De Vivo, music by Marco Bargagna) and the first-ever staged performance of Francis Poulenc’s Le Bal Masqué.

Director Stefania Panighini signs both productions, shaping a scenic path that moves through different languages, atmospheres, and layers of storytelling.
Boccadoro’s direction gives coherence to this dual perspective, guiding music and stage action with his natural ability to let writing, gesture, and theatricality speak within a single expressive line.

An event that weaves together new music, repertoire, and stage vision, enriched by the work of the ensemble Sentieri Selvaggi.

We look forward to seeing you there!
