On 6 December, Francesca Bonaita makes her debut with the Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Aram Khacheh, at the Klaipėda Concert Hall, as part of the Italian Days organised by the Italian Cultural Institute of Vilnius.

A debut that fits naturally into her ongoing international career.

The programme features Paganini’s Cantabile and Bazzini’s Fantasy on Themes from La Traviata, two contrasting facets of the Italian repertoire, which she interprets with ease and a sensitivity capable of holding together very different characters.

Completing the concert are Puccini’s Crisantemi, Verdi’s String Quartet in E minor in Toscanini’s transcription, and Hide in Orchestra by Giovanni Sollima, opening the programme to a more contemporary musical language.

An evening that moves across eras and colours, leaving behind a musical thread that continues to resonate.
