On Friday, Sept. 12, in the splendid setting of Padua Cathedral, NIMA KESHAVARZI will make his debut on the podium of the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, as part of the sacred music festival ” In Principio 2025 – Passio “.
A debut that is not just a first meeting, but the start of a dialogue between the gaze of a young conductor and an orchestra that has always sought new horizons.

Nima’s gesture combines rigor and imagination, giving new voice to pages distant in age and language, but held together by a thin thread of intensity and spirituality. Next to him is Alessandro Perin’s organ, in a weave that will transform the Basilica into a place of pure sound experience.

The program traverses the mystical tension of Poulenc, the modernity of Malipiero and the Baroque splendor of Händel, returning the audience to a journey that speaks to the heart and mind.
