It is now available on all digital platforms in Ultra High Definition (UHD): Slancio Moderato, the debut album by Duo Improbabile, a crossover project featuring original music by Virginia Guastella, performing at the piano alongside drummer Claudio Trotta.

Guastella’s writing draws on and reinterprets musical languages spanning classical, jazz, rock, and avant-garde, shaping sonic forms that, through the virtuosity of the two performers, convey musical ideas of striking expressive immediacy.

The title, inspired by one of Wassily Kandinsky’s last paintings, suggests a controlled propulsion — a continuous dialogue between structure and impulse.

Originally released in 2009 by VDM Records and published by Rai Com, Slancio Moderato now returns in a new UHD edition, offering enhanced clarity and revealing the full complexity and nuance of the musical dialogue.
