Among the rolling hills of Chianti, NIMA KESHAVARZI returns to the podium of La Filharmonie – Orchestra Filarmonica di Firenze – to conduct Gioachino Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, on stage on 20 and 22 August at the Panzano Festival 2026.

Produced by Spazio Lirica and directed by An Roos, the production brings Keshavarzi back to the opera stage and to Rossini’s music, in a score where rhythm, vocal writing and stage action are constantly intertwined, creating the perfectly crafted theatrical mechanism that keeps Il barbiere di Siviglia as vivid and compelling today as ever.
